The Seventh Age students did an excellent job creating volcanoes out of vinegar, baking soda, and food coloring. We learned that when the melted rock is inside of the volcano it is called magma, and when the volcano erupts the magma is called lava.
We began our weather unit in Seventh Age science. We learned that there are three broad groups of clouds: cumulus, cirrus, and stratus, however; most clouds are a mixture of these three. The girls did a nice job using cotton balls to reflect the different types of clouds.
