We began studying animals that have backbones in Seventh Age science. Today we talked about reptiles! We now know that reptiles, lay eggs, are cold-blooded, and have scaly skin. Take a look at our favorite reptile, the SNAKE!

From Seed to Plant
In preparation for planting our lima bean seeds, the Seventh Age students sequenced pictures of a plant's life cycle.

Lima Beans
We are learning about seeds and plants this week in science. The students were able to dissect a lima bean by pulling off the seed coat and splitting open the seed with their finger nails. The students did a great job finding the baby plant inside of the lima bean!

Living and Nonliving Things
Today the Seventh Age Scientists took a walk through Molly's Garden to find living and nonliving things! The boys did a great job making predictions and recording their observations. At the end of our walk we found the coolest spider web!
