The Seventh Age scientists created gas by combining baking soda and vinegar. This chemical reaction caused the gas to spread and fill up the empty space in the balloon. Matter really is everywhere, even if we can't see it!

Matter is Everywhere!

We are learning about matter in Science. Today we studied solids. We learned that solids keep their shape, unlike liquids. Playdough is a solid that molds when you move it. Below is the recipe that the Seventh Age Scientists used to make playdough.

Mix:

1 cup water

1/4 cup salt

1/2 cup Hot water

Food coloring
