MARS (the red planet)

Today during science we studied Mars! We learned that Mars is the fourth planet from the sun and that it has a dusty, rocky surface, which is red in color. We colored coffee filters with markers and painted them with water to make Mars come to life!

Big, Bigger, and Biggest!

Today we compared the Sun, the Moon, and the Earth. The Seventh Agers used play dough to show the size comparisons of all three! The moon is big, the Earth is bigger, and the Sun is BIGGEST!

Creating the Moon

We began our Solar System unit in Seventh Age Science! We created the moon using glue, construction paper, and water colors. The bumpy surface from the glue represents the craters that cover the moon.
